The fifty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women will take place at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 9 to 20 March 2015. Representatives of Member States , UN entities, and ECOSOS-accredited non-governmental organizations (NGO) from all regions of the world attend the session.

La dissociation traumatique et les troubles de la personnalité

La violence est un formidable instrument de soumission et de dissociation, particulièrement quand elle est terrorisante et qu’elle plonge la victime dans un scénario insensé. Elle est à l’origine de troubles psychotraumatiques fréquents et qui peuvent s’installer de façon chronique, sous la forme de troubles de la personnalité, par l’intermédiaire d’une mémoire traumatique et d’une dissociation traumatique. Mémoire traumatique des violences et dissociation vont coloniser les victimes et vont faire cohabiter chez elles plusieurs « personnalités » jusqu’à parfois les exproprier d’elles-mêmes si aucune protection et prise en charge ne sont mises en place, ce qui malheureusement est le plus souvent le cas, les victimes de violences étant dans leur immense majorité laissées à l’abandon (Salmona, 2008, 2012, 2013).
